Contaminated Soil

VCI is one of only two approved 19.5 Asbestos Containing Waste Material Abatement and Management contractors for MnDOT and the only approved contractor in the state that has the unique ability to self-perform contaminated soil and asbestos-containing pipe excavation. Along with owning our own heavy equipment, our company proudly employs an MDH licensed Asbestos Site Supervisor who is also a skilled and licensed heavy equipment operator. Having such resources available allows VCI to respond quickly to meet client needs and the ability to provide immediate service in emergency situations. The 2007 catastrophic 35W Bridge collapse over the Mississippi River was one such event where VCI was able to respond immediately to supply services in the
aftermath.

Not only does VCI supply services for MnDOT projects, but we've performed asbestos excavation for many other public agencies and entities as well as private commercial clientele. It should also be noted that VCI has subcontracted with all of the major heavy construction industry general contractors in our area to contribute to the successful completion of many major infrastructure reconstruction and rehabilitation projects. We deliver uncompromised execution no matter the size or difficulty of your project. Though not exhaustive, the bullet-point list highlights VCI's experience and capabilities with regard to the excavation and management of asbestos- contaminated soil and buried asbestos-containing materials.
